In honor of the weather, (Our first 100 degree day of the year) Jodie and I did a workout we call 100.

WOD:

Workout of the Day-3/11/09

We haven’t been very motivated lately so we have been doing shorter workouts just so we are doing something and it still keeps us active. Today we did Tabata Push ups and Sit ups.

Warm up: 500 meter Row, Practice Dips

Tabata Push ups
Jodie: 12-11-8-7-7-8-7-8

One thing to note is the extreme improvement that Jodie has shown in her push ups there was a time when she could barely do 1.

Today we did ‘Barbara’.  Scaled to 3 rounds instead of 5. 

Three rounds, each for time of:
20 Jumping Pull-ups
30 Push-ups
40 Sit-ups
50 Squats

with 3 minutes of rest between each round.

Workout of the Day 2/26/09 from Hawaii

Chad:

Walking lunge 25 on each leg
21 Push-ups
21 Sit-ups
Walking lunge 25 on each leg
18 Push-ups
18 Sit-ups
Walking lunge 25 on each leg
15 Push-ups
15 Sit-ups
Walking lunge 125 on each leg
12 Push-ups
12 Sit-ups

I was toast after the round of 12.

mmmmm Toast.

Time: 19:48 but get a DNF

Warm up: Jodie-500 meter Run Chad-500 meter Row

Jodie: 1000 meter farmers walk with 12 kg and 16 kg kettle bells

Each stop she did 10 push ups and 10 squats- 5 stops with a  Total of 50 of each

Time- 13:38

Chad: 1500 meter farmers walk with 12kg and 16 kg kettle bells 

Only stopped once at 1000 meters to swap hands and added another set at the end with a total of 20 push ups and 20 squats
