Thursday-Flew from Phoenix Sky Harbor to St. Louis and Moxie did awesome. It was the first time she had her own seat and we put her in her car seat and she watched movies the whole way. Moxie and Jodie slept the whole 3 hours up to Mom and Dad’s in Monticello.
Friday-My Cousin’s Daughter Olivia broke her arm on the monkey bar’s check out the Xray’s over on her blog, they make me cringe. Spent the day relaxing and talking to mom and dad and Dinner at Farren’s in Champaign, Love Elaine’s Salad, and reminisced about Creamy’s and Greater Downtown Food and Beverage company. Amazing how much Champaign has changed. Stacy and Lauren drove in late for the weekend.
Saturday-Went to the Best Farmer’s market in the country in Urbana on the square. My mom had my grandparents over, and my Aunt and Uncle for some delicious Brisket and the best Apple Pie.
Sunday-Relaxing day on the Deck.
Monday-Lunch at Labamba in Champaign where they have Burritos as big as your head.
Wednesday-Jodie and I got to go on a date and went to Monical’s for Pizza and Saw UP, it was absolutely fabulous.
Thursday-Yet another date, this time to a horror movie and dinner at Ko Fusion Downtown Champaign. Really good dinner.
Friday-Went down to the Square in Monticello and Moxie got to ride a horse and we went and ate at three ravens for dinner. Moxie loved riding the horse and didn’t want to get off. Takes after her cousin Madison.
Saturday-Aunt Sharon, Mom’s Twin sister, aka Sha Sha, had everyone over to their house for dinner for their birthday. Olivia and Moxie played all night and had a great time together.
Sunday-Drove down to St. Louis early and spent the afternoon at the Zoo. It’s a wonderful zoo and it’s free. Flew home and Moxie did great again. Glad to see she travel’s so well these days, Looking forward to our next trip in December to Sanibel with Mom, Dad, Stacy and Lauren for a week and a week at Disney World.
